Appeal to Heaven

The light sculpture «Appeal to Heaven» — is a gesture tree, a pray-tree. In its rising branches — a call that goes upwards, upwards to the sky, to the source of light and meaning. The trunk resembles a body, the roots are a support, and the raised branches are hands open in search of an answer.

The tree appeals to the higher powers — not with words, but with its very existence. «Appealing to the sky» is not a request, but a confession: we are part of something greater. In the evening and at night you can turn on the illumination and contemplate the meanings in a new reading.
