Art Studio Cipollino is an art association of like-minded individuals, who are inspired by art, creativity and the drive to create bold and original projects. The idea mastermind and founder of the Studio is Yerlik Balfanbayev.

«Cipollino» translated from Italian means «baby onion». This concept illustrates the idea of art’s layered structure very well. Like an onion, every sculpture and art object has many layers — from initial idea and concept to its final form. It is a metaphor of artistic journey, which begins with a simple idea and transforms into a unique work.
